The Sands of Time
A journey back in time, unraveling the monuments of the past. A lot is unknown about the ancient heritage of the towns of North Karnataka. Although being UNESCO World Heritage Sites, most of the stories behind them are not spoken of. This is a series of photographs that document the Gol Gumbaz (monument with the second largest dome in the world), the cave temples of Aihole, Badami and Pattadakal (which are regarded metaphorically as the scholastic epitome of sculptural proficiency).
